Does Synoplus Lab Solutions share client data?
No. Synoplus Lab Solutions does not share client data with third parties for marketing or other purposes. All personal information and test results are securely stored and accessed only by Synoplus Lab Solutions authorized personnel or laboratory staff, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
How long does it take?
The process is quick and straightforward.
DNA Collection & Paperwork:
Sample collection and required paperwork typically take 15–30 minutes, depending on the number of participants and the type of test being performed.Results Turnaround Time:
Once samples are received by the laboratory, results are usually available within a few business days. Expedited options may be available depending on the test selected.
What’s the difference between legal and informational DNA testing?
While both types of tests are handled and processed with the same high standard of care and accuracy, the difference comes down to how the results can be used.
Legal DNA Testing follows a strict chain-of-custody process, includes identity verification, and is performed in accordance with legal standards. Results can be used for court cases, child support, or other official purposes with the exception of immigration cases.
Informational DNA Testing is for personal knowledge only. It does not follow legal chain-of-custody requirements and therefore cannot be used in court or for legal matters.
